A New Zealand base in Wellington.
Located in the Capital city's exclusive seaside neighbourhood of Oriental Bay, Ohtel is a 10 room boutique hotel that opened in March 2008. 4. 5 star, self-rated Ohtel provides true international class with Urban Chic. Ohtel is adjacent to Wellington's principal entertainment precinct, and enroute to the city from the international airport. Major attractions such as Te Papa, Oriental Bay beach, theatres, restaurants & clubs, are a stone's throw away. Beyond, the city hub creates a picturesque night-time back-drop. Whether hosting international visitors, that 'must impress' corporate guest, or seeking a weekend escape without the hassle, Ohtel offers an inspirational environment for you to enjoy. Bathrooms are the focal point of Deluxe and Suites; Large expanses of glass reveal luxurious two-person baths, oversized showers, and the finest natural toiletries. All rooms are equipped with smart TVs and Bluetooth speakers so you can enjoy your personal media away from home. Also on premise you will find Duppa, our modern kiwi tapas and wine bar. George Duppa was the first resident of Oriental Bay and owned farms in the Wellington and Nelson region. That is why we source all of the ingredients, wines and other beverages from within a 200km distance from Ohtel.
